45th Big 5 Global Exhibition Kicks Off Tomorrow in Dubai
The 45th Big 5 Global exhibition starts tomorrow in Dubai and continues until Friday, November 29.
Dubai World Trade Centre will host this event, welcoming over 1,500 leaders from public and private sectors to discuss the future of urban communities.
More than 100,000 participants from over 165 countries will attend this prominent international gathering.
This event hosts over 2,700 exhibitors and 300 speakers in urban development, construction, geospatial management, and facilities.
The urban construction and infrastructure sector in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia is experiencing rapid growth.
Due to the substantial investments estimated at around $6.75 trillion.
Big 5 Global Leaders Summit
The Big 5 Global Leaders Summit will feature prominent speakers including:
- Maysarah Eid, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi General Services Company
- Dr. Saif Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi
- Georgette Singh, Development Director at Aldar Properties
- Saeed Al Qatami, CEO of Deyaar Development
International speakers will also present innovative insights and practical applications for cities.
This is in line with the latest global urban development and construction trends.
LiveableCitiesX Summit
The LiveableCitiesX Summit will attract distinguished speakers like:
- Lord Udny-Lister, British Co-Chair of the UAE-UK Business Council
- Sandro Alex Cruz de Oliveira, Minister of Infrastructure in Paraná, Brazil
- Lufuno Ratsheko, Chair of the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions
- Professor Carlos Moreno, founder of the 15-minute city concept and Scientific Director of the ETI Chair, Associate Professor at the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University / Paris Sorbonne Business School.

American University of Sharjah Participation
The College of Architecture, Art, and Design (CAAD) at the American University of Sharjah will participate in the summit with an exhibition titled “Designing the Future: CAAD at the Big 5.”
The exhibition will showcase award-winning works from the college’s “Design-Build” initiative.
In addition to the projects selected from the annual “Six Degrees” exhibition.
Mentioning that this exhibition will attract thousands of visitors to the Big 5.
CAAD faculty members will also participate in panel discussions during two key conferences at Big 5 Global, including:
