Emirates Airline Earns “Autism Friendly” Certification for All Dubai Check-In Facilities
In coincide with World Autism Awareness Day, Emirates Airline has earned “Autism Friendly” certification for all its check-in facilities in Dubai.
This certification underlines Emirates’ commitment to making travel more inclusive and accessible for all customers.
Including those with autism or sensory sensitivities.
The certification process involved:
- Specialized training on autism and sensory awareness for Emirates staff across all facilities.
- Comprehensive audits of the facilities at all locations, measuring sensory input in public areas.
Such as sound levels, lighting, and potential odors to develop sensory guides.
This initiative follows Dubai International Airport’s achievement of the “CAC Autism Caring Certificate”.
Which made it the first international airport globally to receive this recognition.
Emirates Airline check-in service offers a seamless pre-airport experience.
This is by allowing customers to check in and drop off luggage up to 24 hours maximum and 4 hours minimum before their flight departure.
Travel is More Inclusive and Accessible for Everyone.
Emirates Airline aims at enhancing travel experience for its customers, this is in collaboration with:
The Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Airports.
