Arab Reading Challenge Continues to Break Records with 28 Million Participants in its 8th Edition
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his pride in the remarkable achievements of the Arab Reading Challenge.
Moreover, he emphasized the transformative power of reading in shaping the future generations.
Mentioning that the 8th edition of the Arab Reading Challenge saw an outstanding participation of 28.2 million students from 50 countries.
These students are representing 229,620 schools, under the supervision of 154,643 supervisors.
Grand Prize of AED 500,000
The national finals of the challenge are currently underway, with each participating nation selecting its champions.
These winners will then advance to compete for the coveted title of Arab Reading Challenge Champion.
The challenge employs a multi-stage selection process to identify its champions.
Moreover, students must demonstrate their ability to read and summarize 50 books, showcasing their comprehension of the key information.
The champion will receive a grand prize of AED 500,000 to support his continued educational and intellectual pursuits.
Adding that the challenge honors the distinguished supervisor with a prize of AED 300,000.
While the distinguished school will be honored with a prize of AED 1 million.
