Leading UAE Innovations in Healthcare at Arab Health 2024
The 44th Arab Health Exhibition 2024 kicked off today at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event runs until February 1st and features extensive local and international participation.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention, Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Dubai Health Authority are using a unified national platform under the slogan “UAE Health”.
In order to present their current and future initiatives in developing a comprehensive and integrated healthcare system.
This aims to enhance competitiveness, flexibility, and effectiveness.
Aligning with the country’s goals and priorities in sustainability, competitiveness, and leadership for improved quality of life.
Pioneering Projects and Initiatives
The Ministry of Health and Prevention’s platform at the exhibition unveils a series of pioneering projects and initiatives contributing to the advancement of future healthcare services. These include:
- A data dashboard to boost the capabilities of the Emergency and Crisis Center
- A digital platform for managing career paths of healthcare professionals
- A project analyzing the carbon footprint of hospitals in the UAE
- An early detection initiative for diabetes
- Updates to the Al Hosn app
- A platform for health research
- Developments in the “Hayat” program for organ and tissue donation and transplantation
- Upgrades to the “Tatmeen” platform for tracking and tracing pharmaceutical products
Strengthening International Cooperation in Arab Health 2024
Participating entities at the exhibition emphasized their commitment to fostering international cooperation in healthcare.
In order to achieve sustainable development goals.
And also to ensure access to high-quality healthcare for everyone, regardless of location or income.
Mental Health
The Emirates Health Services Establishment has commitment to promoting mental health and addressing key mental health challenges faced by the community.
Moreover, the establishment announced its latest mental health service “virtual reality-based therapy” at Arab Health 2024.
This service will be implemented in the second half of 2024 at the Hope Hospital for Mental Health.
The virtual reality therapy lab is one of the latest smart technology tools that the establishment is implementing.
Mentioning that the Emirates Health Services Establishment is the first in the Middle East to introduce this type of therapy.
