UAE Delivers the Second Emirati Aid Vessel to Lebanon, Carrying 3,000 Tons of Relief Supplies
Another Emirati aid vessel arrived at Beirut port, carrying 3,000 tons of diverse relief supplies.
The vessel is part of “UAE Stands with Lebanon” national campaign.
This action is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and under the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
Welcoming the ship was His Excellency Dr. Nasser Yassin, Lebanon’s Minister of Environment and Head of the Government Crisis Management Cell.
H.E Dr. Nasser Yassin was accompanied by Brigadier General Bassem Nabulsi, head of the Higher Relief Commission.
The Legacy of the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
The Emirati aid vessel included various food items, supplies for children and women, winter equipment, and shelter materials.
Sultan Mohammed Saeed Al Shamsi, Deputy Director-General of the UAE International Aid Agency, emphasized the UAE’s moral and international commitment to providing urgent relief to the suffering Lebanese people.
He highlighted the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in extending a helping hand to those in need during times of crisis.

Al Shamsi also noted the UAE’s immediate response to the crisis in Lebanon.
As an implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He stressed the ongoing solidarity and institutional cooperation within the UAE community to provide relief aid.
Besides meeting the urgent needs of those affected by the crisis.
The UAE continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the Lebanese people during their time of need.
