The Dubai Police General Command represented by the General Department of Human Rights distributed as part of its awareness campaign and medical education programs to the category of workers hundreds of sterilizers and masks for workers.
Captain Hamad Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of Temporary Employment Situation Department in Dubai Police, stressed that the awareness campaign targets a large and important group in the Emirate of Dubai, which is the category of workers.
He explained that the campaign team continues its awareness programs for workers and owners of workers housing by distributing awareness leaflets, in addition to displaying educational films in several languages on how to take serious precautionary measures in terms of adhering to public health rules, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and providing antiseptics at their workplaces, housing and transportation.
He stressed the importance of sterilizing all labour accommodation facilities and sterilizing workers’ transportation well daily, providing hand sanitizer at bus gates for use by workers when boarding, and focusing on physical spacing.
