Revolutionizing Urban Transportation in Mena Region.
Falcon Aviation Services, based in Abu Dhabi, is gearing up to launch UAE air taxi service starting from January 1, 2026.
This ambitious project, will be launched in partnership with Archer Aviation.
Mentioning that it is going to revolutionize urban transportation in the region.
Locations of UAE Air Taxi Service Vertiports
The partnership will see the development of state-of-the-art vertiport infrastructure in key locations, including:
- Atlantis, the Palm in Dubai
- Marina Mall heliport in Abu Dhabi.
These vertiports will serve as hubs for Archer’s Midnight flying car.
And they will provide passengers with scenic aerial journeys between the two cities in within 30 special minutes.
Initial Trials and Future Plans:
Pilot Testing: Archer’s Midnight flying car will undergo rigorous tests in Al Ain from May 2025.
Those tests focusing on performance in hot and dusty conditions.
Expanding Network: The initial focus will be on intra-city flights within Abu Dhabi.
Mentioning that there are plans to connect Abu Dhabi and Dubai by mid-2026.
The long-term vision includes expanding the network to other cities like Ras Al Khaimah.
Economic and Operational Considerations:
Affordability: The target price for Abu Dhabi-Dubai flight is set at around AED 1,000 per passenger.
With intra-city flights potentially costing around AED 300.
Recruitment: Falcon Aviation plans a strategic approach to recruitment.
Leveraging existing expertise and hiring additional staff as needed.
