Abu Dhabi team is leading Formula 2 World Championship
The “Best Time” race of the second round of the Formula 2 World Championship will start tomorrow, Saturday.
This is in the city of Tønsberg, Norway, with the participation of world champions.
The champions are led by Abu Dhabi team, the titleholder of last season, with its two champions, Rashed Al Qemzi and Mansoor Al Mansoori.
The Emirati boats aim to achieve strong numbers in the Best Time race.
So Abu Dhabi team starts at the forefront of the competition in the main and final race the day after tomorrow.
Stages of The Best Time Race
The Best Time stages will start with three different qualifiers.
It will begin with the participation of all boats in the first qualifier.
Then moving to the second and third qualifiers, with 10 boats qualifying.
The first round in Brindisi, Italy, last June saw British Matthew Palfreyman win the championship title, with Lithuanian Edgars Riabko coming in second and Portuguese Duarte Benavente third.

Rashed Al Qemzi, the titleholder, faced some technical fluctuations and finished the race in sixth place.
While Mansoor Al Mansoori was unable to complete it due to a technical malfunction.
Nasser Al Dhaheri, head of Abu Dhabi team delegation, confirmed the team’s readiness for the round after a three-day training camp in Italy.

Al Dhaheri said: “There were boat training sessions in Italy.
