She represented Albania in thanking everyone who helped it during this global coronavirus crisis and with due respect for all, with a special thanks for the United Arab Emirates aid plane, which represents a special value for it.

The support of the United Arab Emirates to Albania will remind that Albania has a great friend like His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who He was always by our side when the Albanians were suffering.

UAE sent Medical supplies to Albania

On May 15th, the United Arab Emirates sent an aid plane containing 7 tons of medical supplies to Albania to support it in limiting the spread of the new coronavirus, which will benefit more than 7,000 health care workers to enhance their efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Taulant Balla, Secretary General, Chairman of the Majority Parliamentary Group in the Albanian Parliament Albania is grateful to HH Mohamed Bin Zayed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces for the medical aid sent to Albania to support it in its fight against Covid-19. The UAE and Albania are discussing strengthening joint relations

The United Arab Emirates discussed ways to strengthen relations with the Republic of Albania, as well as the situation in the Middle East and the Balkans.

This came during a meeting between Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with Edvin Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, who visited the United Arab Emirates to attend the tenth “International Urban Forum” that Abu Dhabi hosted.

The two sides stressed during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, the importance of the UAE-Albanian relations, and the UAE’s keenness to strengthen and develop it at all levels.

The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Albania in various fields, ways to support and develop them in the interest of the two countries and peoples, in addition to the situations in the Middle East and Balkan regions, and regional and international issues of common concern.

The Prime Minister of Albania expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the United Arab Emirates to his country in the field of development, stressing that Albania has a great keenness to strengthen and develop relations with the United Arab Emirates in various fields.

On 28, November 2019, The UAE Red Crescent Authority provided urgent humanitarian assistance worth 13 million dirhams, which represents the first phase of the earthquake relief program in Albania, benefiting 555,000 people. The aid includes the necessary needs of food, medical supplies, and shelter.

The directives of the wise leadership come within the framework of the humanitarian and development efforts undertaken by the United Arab Emirates on the international scene, based on its principles and approach in providing assistance to those in need without consideration of any inhuman considerations, and embodiment of the state policy that made the human dimension a consistent approach in its external movements until the United Arab Emirates became the first humanitarian country in the world.
