Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi Delivers A Speech at Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024
During a keynote session at Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 Minister of Youth Affairs, Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, alongside Bahraini Minister of Youth, H.E. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, delivered a direct message to the youth.
He urged them to focus on the opportunities provided by the wise leadership.
He also emphasized the importance of raising awareness among young generations.
In addition to fostering technical skills and utilizing them positively to seize available opportunities.
Dr. Al Neyadi stated:
“We have 20 youth councils and more than 2,000 young men and women working in these councils, presenting ideas and solutions.”
He highlighted the importance of social intelligence skills for the youth, adding:
“We want our nation’s youth to be decision-makers.”
UAE National Youth Agenda
Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi outlined the key components of the national youth agenda, focusing on five main areas:
- Building character
- Developing role models
- Future skills
- Quality of life
- Economic empowerment
Bahrain’s Minister of Youth: “We prepare youth for the global job market.”
H.E. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Bahrain’s Minister of Youth, noted that youth empowerment is a shared responsibility among institutions.
She added: “We have created a base of talented youth in various fields such as technology and science.
This base follows a methodology to contain and empower this group and benefit from their talents.
We also prepare youth for the global job market besides the local one, this is a core policy of the Bahraini government.”
