With a construction cost of AED 128 billion, the terminal will be the largest in the world.
Moreover, it will be capable of handling 260 million passengers and 12 million tonnes of cargo annually.
This ambitious project aligns with Dubai Airports’ strategy to transform Al Maktoum International Airport into a global aviation hub.
By surpassing the current capacity of Dubai International Airport.

Spanning an area of 70 square kilometers, the terminal will be five times the size of Dubai International Airport, solidifying Dubai’s status as a global aviation hub.

The airport will boast five parallel runways, equipped with the highest operational standards, four of which can operate independently. -
Dual Passenger Terminals:
The airport will feature two passenger terminals, one on the east side and one on the west side, catering to different passenger flows and destinations. -
Internal Rail System:
An efficient internal rail system will connect the various terminals and facilities within the airport, ensuring seamless passenger movement. -
Central Transportation Hub:
A comprehensive transportation hub will integrate all modes of public transport, providing convenient access to and from the airport.
