8 New Medals for Abu Dhabi Modern Sailing Team
Abu Dhabi Modern Sailing Team won eight medals at the Musannah Sailing Week in Oman.
The competition concluded last night with the participation of 100 sailors representing nine countries.
The Emirati team shone in the competition, with Abdullah Yahya securing first place and the gold medal in the Optimist Open category.
While his teammate Khalifa Al Rumaithi finished third, winning the bronze medal in the same category.
Khalifa Al Rumaithi also claimed first place and the gold medal in the Optimist Under-12 category.
The Optimist team also took second place, earning the silver medal in the team race.
Marwa Al Hammadi won first place in the ILCA 4 Girls category.
While Othman Al Hammadi finished second in the ILCA 6 category.
Camelia Al Qubaisi secured first place in the ILCA 6 Girls category, and Hamza Al Ali earned third place in the ILCA 7 Open category.

Salem Al Rumaithi, General Manager of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, expressed his happiness with this achievement.
He added that the success of Abu Dhabi team reflects the strength of marine sports in the UAE.

He noted the continuous follow-up from Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Club and the Federation.
Al Rumaithi emphasized that these new medals add to Abu Dhabi Modern Sailing journey of excellence and success in various competitions.
