Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition 2024 Preserves Emirati Heritage
Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition 2024 is showcasing a unique collection of local arts and crafts this year.
The exhibition aims to preserve the heritage of the UAE by combining tradition with innovative and forward-looking elements.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the event runs from August 31st to September 8th.
Visitors, whether hunting and equestrian enthusiasts or those interested in immersing themselves in the region’s cultural heritage.
Can explore cultural exhibitions, stunning traditional performances, and live historical displays that celebrate the rich heritage of the area.
14 Countries
This year’s exhibition features participation from 65 countries, a 51% increase from last year.
Additionally, 14 countries are participating for the first time.
The number of exhibitors has also risen significantly, reaching 613, which led to an expansion of the exhibition space to over 68,000 square meters.
It is expected that more than 174,000 visitors will attend the nine-day event, a first in the exhibition’s history.
During Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition, Abu Dhabi Falconers Club will organize special sessions for children.
Kids can engage in hands-on experiences at the falconry pavilion.
They can also learn about horse care and participate in arts and crafts activities.
Fayona
Among the available activities that simulate the world of equestrianism there is drawing pictures of Arabian horses.
As well as creating horse-shaped keychains and bracelets, and face painting.
The well-known local program “Fayona” will also allow children to join workshops that enhance their national identity and values.
Additionally, the “Sustainable Heritage Photo Exhibition” will showcase a collection of images.
These images depict the UAE’s sustainable environmental heritage, previously published in leading media outlets worldwide.

For those interested in arts and crafts, the Knowledge Center at Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition offers live shows and workshops.
With prominent experts covering various topics related to:
Culture, environment, falconry, desert exploration, natural heritage, and traditional Emirati crafts.
Each day of the exhibition will also feature entertaining poetry performances by renowned and emerging poets celebrating falconry, hunting, equestrianism, culture, and heritage.
