Abu Dhabi International Book Fair Promotes Reading Culture Among Students
In conjunction with the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, a fantastic gift has been bestowed upon students in the country’s schools.
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair distributed 65,000 books to 220 school libraries.
Moreover, this generous initiative comes under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
The initiative reflects a strong belief in reading, as it is developing students’ skills and strengthening their knowledge.
Supporting School Libraries
The books were purchased from the fair using a dedicated grant in order to support school libraries in spreading the culture of reading among students and providing diverse knowledge resources that cater to their interests and encourage them to explore and learn.
However, the initiative ensured a variety of books suitable for all age groups, including:
- Literary books that enrich students’ imaginations and develop their language skills.
- Scientific and cultural books that open up new avenues of knowledge and broaden their horizons.
