Abu Dhabi Health will showcase the most prominent initiatives and programs for sustainable healthcare at COP28.
As part of their anticipated participation in the largest annual event dealing with climate issues.
The authority will seek to highlight the impact of climate change on three main pillars.
That are of great importance for the sustainability of healthcare services.
The participation comes in line with the commitment of the Authority and Abu Dhabi Public Health Center to highlight the relationship between climate change and public healthcare.
In addition to the fact that climate crisis is linked to a range of health issues.

Comprehensive program
Abu Dhabi Health and the Public Center will organize a comprehensive program over 12 days.
Which will focus on the close relationship between healthcare, climate change, and sustainability.
And also will show how each of these areas affects the other.
Within the program, the Authority and the Center will organize a series of events.
That include dialogue sessions with the focus on ensuring the readiness of global healthcare institutions for the future.
In addition, the program will cover other topics.
Such as building green hospitals and reducing the carbon footprint of the sector.
As well as creating healthcare systems that can withstand the challenges of climate change.
It will also address the impact of climate change on societies, including the increase in natural disasters, air pollution, and insect-borne epidemics.

In this context, Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Health Authority said:
