Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club Concludes A Season Of Achievements
Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club concluded its 2023-2024 season with a remarkable collection of achievements.
The club has garnered 107 medals across various local and international tournaments, solidifying its position as a leading self-defense sports club in the region.
The medals secured by the club’s champions included 19 gold, 27 silver, and 61 bronze medals.
Signifying their excellence and exceptional skills across different age groups.
This season witnessed a significant rise in the number of medals achieved compared to the previous season.
Mentioning that the tally increased from 68 to 107.
This is a testament to the sound technical approach implemented by the club and its continuous development efforts.
Fruitful Collaboration and Exceptional Accomplishments
H.E. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors, commended the efforts of all those who contributed to this achievement.
He expressed gratitude to the UAE Judo Federation for their significant support to judo in the country.
As well as the Sharjah Sports Council for their patronage and continuous backing of the club’s progress.
Al Owais also extended his appreciation to the families of the players who constitute a fundamental pillar of success.

Al Owais highlighted the club’s ongoing pursuit of global recognition by contributing five new players, nurtured within the club, to the national teams.
Additionally, the club athletes secured 3 international medals.
This achievement underscores the Board of Directors’ vision of nurturing future Olympic champions who will represent the nation in international arenas.
