Emirates Nature WWF, in collaboration with the Global Environment Fund, has launched the second series of its summer training program for the Year of Sustainability.
The series title is “Nature’s Resilience.”
The program aims to enhance the community’s culture and skills in the field of nature and the environment.
Emirates Nature WWF introduces nature in innovative ways
As part of the “Change Leaders” program, this free series consists of 10 interactive sessions.
These sessions explore the environmental richness of our country.
From vast desert sands and hidden oases to freshwater habitats and coastal areas.
Participants will be introduced to nature in innovative ways.
The series will enable participants to understand their role and how they can support experts in preserving the local environment.
The society will award certificates of appreciation to participants who complete seven sessions.
Recognizing their commitment to environmental education in the country.
Society role in the Year of Sustainability
Arabella Willing, Head of the Citizenship Education and Activities Department at the society, stated:
“Nature’s Resilience initiative encourages the community to play an active and informed role in the Year of Sustainability.
Through an interactive series of training courses and workshops delivered by specialists in this field.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the importance of biodiversity and sustainable management when mitigating the effects of climate change and preserving the natural heritage of the country.”
Emirates Nature WWF series for this year runs for 10 weeks.

It will have a great focus on the unique biodiversity of wildlife in the UAE.
It will also highlight rare and endangered species, pollinating insects, migratory and resident birds.
In addition to the organisms that inhabit the deserts – all of which play invaluable roles in maintaining healthy natural ecosystems.
