The UAE Supports Ceasefire in Gaza

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister for Foreign Affairs met with Yair Lapid, Leader of the Opposition in Israel.
Moreover. they discussed the latest developments in the region.
Particularly the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip.

Abdullah bin Zayed Stresses The Importance of The “Two-State Solution”

His Highness, Minister for Foreign Affairs, noted the urgent importance of pushing towards a serious political horizon.
In order to restore the negotiations to achieve a comprehensive peace based on the “two-State solution”.
Thereby contributing to consolidating stability, achieving sustainable security in the region and ending the escalating violence in the region.

His Highness stressed the importance of hard working for a ceasefire and avoiding the widening conflict in the region.
Noting that the priority is to end the tension and violence to protect civilian lives.
In addition to facilitate the flow of urgent humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza Strip through safe, unimpeded, intensive and sustainable corridors.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the following at the ministerial meeting of the Six Arab Countries with Anthony Blinken:

“The major challenges facing the Middle East region during the current period require intensification of regional and international efforts.
To support the comprehensive peace path based on a “two-state solution”.

During the meeting, His Highness confirmed that sustainable ceasefire is important to avoid spreading the conflict in the region.
His Highness also stressed the UAE’s firm approach to support regional and global peace and stability.
In addition to its desire to build bridges of cooperation with various countries in order to achieve development and prosperity for all peoples.
