According to WAM, the phone dealt with a number of issues of common concern and the developments of the pandemic of the emerging Coronavirus and its effects, especially the economic one.
In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of concerted global efforts to overcome this challenge and enhance joint action to address its various effects.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the distinguished strategic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Russia, and the continuous growth in the fields of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
For his part, Mantorov expressed his country’s aspiration to enhance joint cooperation with the Emirates, based on the distinguished strategic partnership that links the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation discussed, during a telephone conversation with Ethiopian Foreign Minister, Guido Andargashio, friendship and joint cooperation between the two countries in many fields, including trade, investment, health and food security.
The phone call also covered a number of regional and international issues, all developments, current developments and discussion of issues of common concern.
The two sides discussed the pandemic developments of the emerging Coronavirus in general and in the African continent in particular.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the United Arab Emirates and the friendly Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia are connected with distinguished historical relations, pointing to the keenness to enhance the fields of joint cooperation in a way that realizes the common interests of the two friendly countries and brings benefits to their peoples.
For his part, Andaragashio stressed his country’s aspiration to enhance relations of joint cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, based on the distinguished relations between the two countries.
He appreciated the United Arab Emirate’s support to his country to help it cope with the repercussions of the emerging epidemic of the Coronavirus.
