The Dubai Ambulance Service received a report that the patient, 29-year-old Mohammed M., had fainted completely.
Within minutes, the ambulance team arrived and, after examining him, determined that he had suffered a heart attack.
They performed first aid while transporting him to the emergency department at Tadawi Hospital.
Once at the hospital and after examination, the doctors determined that the patient had suffered acute pulmonary embolisms, which caused his heart to stop completely and led to severe respiratory failure.
Medical team gave him cardiopulmonary resuscitation with repeated electric shocks until his heart started beating again.
Within minutes, they took the patient to the surgery room and underwent an emergency cardiac catheterization with the administration of clot-dissolving agents.
Then he was placed in the intensive care unit on a ventilator.

The patient’s condition was very critical and the risk of death was very high due to weakness of the heart muscle and respiratory failure.
This required rapid medical intervention to save his life and restore his heartbeat.
Therefore, the medical team performed a cardiac and pulmonary catheterization immediately.
Then the patient transferred to the intensive care unit under full medical supervision.
Additionally, the patient was placed on a ventilator until his condition stabilized and he regained consciousness.
Dr. Aday added: during treatment, the doctors discovered that the patient had suffered severe infections and sepsis.
Also, the doctors treated them with the necessary antibiotics.
His condition improved and his breathing returned to normal.
