Dubai Announces Comprehensive Security Measures for New Year’s Eve Celebrations
Dubai Events Security Committee has unveiled a comprehensive security, organizational, and service plan to ensure the safety and success of the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Multiple government departments and institutions will collaborate to deliver a world-class event.
During a press conference, the committee announced the designation of 36 locations for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Major General Khamis Khalifa Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police, emphasized that all event locations will be secured through police presence, dedicated operations rooms, and traffic patrols to manage traffic flow and prevent congestion.
Dubai is Ready For New Year’s Celebrations
Major General Ali Hassan Al Mutawa, Assistant Director-General of Dubai Civil Defence for Fire and Rescue Affairs, discussed the proactive measures.
As well as field surveys of 275 facilities, including fireworks launch sites and surrounding structures.
In addition to surveying 1077 other locations.
The committee also announced the allocation of 36 locations with a total of 44 events.
33 locations for tents are designated for reporting lost and found items and any observations.
As well as 20,000 parking spaces ready to welcome visitors care in the event area.
Dubai Metro service will continue to operate with 53 stations, and Dubai Tram with 11 stations, around the clock.
Additionally, 140 public buses will cater to the needs of community members in most locations across the emirate.
