HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, asserted that the UAE flag will always stand tall.
Upheld by its loyal sons who strive for its glory and advancement in every field.

He expressed appreciation for the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs and emphasized honoring their families with full care.

In a tweet on Martyrs’ Day, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated:

“On Commemoration Day, we solemnly honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service of the UAE.
With enduring gratitude for their efforts to uphold the safety, security, and integrity of our beloved nation.
We pray for our heroes to rest in eternal peace and dignity..”

All sacrifices shrink before those of the martyrs.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, highlighted that all sacrifices pale in comparison to those of the martyrs. 
He added that everyone in the nation stands in reverence for the martyrs’ blood on this day.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid wrote: “On Martyr’s Day, all sacrifices shrink before those of the martyrs.
Everyone in the nation stands in reverence for the martyrs’ blood. 
The nation’s flag remains high, soaring with the martyrs’ spirits.

Glory to the martyr, glory to the homeland.”

 The UAE martyrs are luminous cloves that represent the country.

Emirati officials emphasized that the wise leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has made loyalty to the martyrs and their families an integral part of the nation’s identity.
They also reaffirmed that the UAE never forgets those who sacrificed their lives for it.
