UAE: A Home for Record-Breaking Landmarks
According to “Fact” magazine, specialized in entertainment news, The UAE is renowned for its impressive record-breaking landmarks.
As it is boasting some of the biggest and best attractions that are unmatched anywhere else in the world,
In a report on its official website, the magazine highlighted around 20 locations that hold world records.
Burj Khalifa is leading the way as the tallest building in the world, standing at a staggering 830 meters.
This iconic landmark attracts visitors from all over the world and took six years to build, comprising 63 floors.
“Hatta” sign on its way to enter the Guinness World Records.
Hatta, one of the most scenic areas in the UAE, it has “Hatta” sign, the world’s largest sign.
Which is also featured by the site, located atop the Hajar Mountains.
It stands at a height of 19.28 meters, surpassing the famous Hollywood sign which is 13.7 meters tall.
The magazine also highlighted the world’s highest suspended hotel suite, located in the St. Regis Abu Dhabi hotel.
Situated 200 meters above the capital, between the 48th and 49th floors of the Etihad Towers.

Another record-breaking structure is the Capital Gate tower in Abu Dhabi, developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.
It entered the Guinness World Records for being the world’s furthest-leaning structure.
Designed by “Andaz Capital Gate” to tilt 18 degrees to the west while rising 35 floors to a height of 160 meters.
The world’s Tallest Hotel is in the UAE
The report mentioned the Gevora Hotel, which is the world’s tallest hotel.
Standing at a height of 356 meters and offering 529 comfortable rooms with impeccable decor.
It is located alongside the world’s largest lantern, situated in the Souk Al Jubail in Sharjah.
And standing at a height of 13 meters and officially recognized as the largest lantern ever made.
The website also highlighted the world’s largest picture frame located in Zabeel Park.
As well as the world’s deepest swimming pool, “Deep Dive Dubai,” which opened in 2021 with a depth of 60 meters.
In addition, the report featured “Ain Dubai,” the world’s largest Ferris wheel, located on Bluewaters Island.
It stands at a height of 250 meters and can accommodate up to 1400 passengers, with each ride lasting approximately 38 minutes.
