COP28 Presidency embraced the communication approach of the UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Fostering strong relationships and partnerships for the benefit of both the nation and the world.
Going beyond negotiations:
COP28 aimed not only to negotiate agreements but also to drive tangible progress on critical issues.

The launch of the $30 billion “Altera” fund by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan significantly boosted efforts to address climate finance gaps, particularly for developing countries.
