Education and knowledge have become at the top of the UAE leadership's interests and agenda.

UNESCO bets on UAE support for its educational programs

Stefania Giannini, the Assistant Director-General for Education at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), said:
“UNESCO is counting heavily on the support of the United Arab Emirates for its educational programs around the world.”

Giannini has expressed UNESCO’s pride in its fruitful and continuous cooperation with the UAE.
Since the UAE cooperation is strong in all humanitarian issues and development fields.
Especially in the field of education.

Moreover, she stressed that education in the UAE has reached high levels of development

Mentioning that the UAE contributes to supporting education in several poor countries around the world in coordination with UNESCO.
Since the UAE is keen to adopt the best practices and visions that promote the organization’s security plans.
Also activating them on the ground and achieve its goals.

Education development by the UAE

She added that the UAE has made continuous strenuous efforts to advance the ways of developing education.
By investing in future generations and providing them with the needed skills.

As well as the best sciences and advantages that achieve the UAE aspirations and build on its vision for the future.
She stressed that education and knowledge have become at the top of the UAE leadership’s interests and agenda.

Also, she affirmed that UNESCO considers the UAE a strategic partner, as the two sides’ goals intersect.
Which focus in their content on documenting the best paths that support UNESCO’s goals.
And also spread its concepts and vision through the sustainability of education and culture.

Since they have profound impact on the growth and prosperity of peoples and the urbanization of societies around the world.

Never to forget the UAE humanitarian role in building and rehabitaling schools all over the world.
For example: Emirates Red Crescent has Rehabilitated around 40 schools in Lattakia – Syria.
