Museum of the Future receives WELL Health Safety Rating”, in recognition of its excellence in operations and facilities management.
This makes it the first museum in the UAE, Middle East and North Africa region to receive this prestigious certification.
WELL Health Safety Rating is awarded by the International WELL Building Institute.
Furthermore, WELL Building Institute is a global organization that focuses on health and safety standards in the services provided to people in public buildings.
The institute works with more than 6,000 scientists and experts from around the world to develop this rating.
To be clear, WELL Health Safety Rating focuses on the concept; “people first”.
Which enables organizations to take the necessary steps & ensure the health and safety of visitors and employees.
In addition to developing operational policies, maintenance mechanisms, and interaction with various stakeholders.
Team of Museum of the Future worked closely with the International WELL Building Institute to develop comprehensive plans.
Which will enhance the flexibility of the museum’s operations and give priority to achieving the highest standards of health and safety.
In this regard, Majed Al Mansouri, Deputy Executive Director of Museum of the Future, said:

It is worth noting that Museum of the Future is the first museum in the Middle East to receive the Platinum LEED rating.
Which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
In fact this is the highest rating for green buildings in the world.
The museum has also received the Roy E. Disney Leading Edge Award, known as the “Edge.”
Moreover, the World Association of Science and Technology Centers has presented the Edge Award to the Museum.
This award recognizes the museum’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and making future experiences accessible to everyone.
