Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is in a meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister and the accompanying delegation at Al Shati Palace.
The meeting was attended by:
- His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
- His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
- His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
And a number of senior officials.
The Iranian delegation included Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Saeed Mohammed Al Zaabi, the UAE’s Ambassador to Iran.
During the meeting, His Highness conveyed his greetings to the Iranian President and his wishes for Iran and its people to achieve more development and progress.
Also, The Iranian Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his wishes for the UAE’s progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Iranian Foreign Minister have discussed the bilateral relations between the UAE and Iran along with the ways to enhance cooperation and joint work to achieve both countries common interests
Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has talked with the Iranian delegation about the mutual interest cases based on regional and international levels.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the positive developments that have taken place in the region and the need to build on the progress for the benefit of the Middle East Region peoples to promote stability and prosperity.
