UAE updates about increasing mosques capacity by 50% today

Today, Monday, the United Arab Emirates will begin adjusting the time between the call to prayer and residence, so that the time period between them will increase from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, except for the Moroccan prayer, which will be 5 minutes. Also, mosques capacity will increase to 50%, while committing to the physical distance and all other preventive measures.

For its part, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments circulated to all mosques capacity the need to adhere to the instructions for the amendment decision, by adding another five minutes to the time period between the call to prayer and residence so that it rises to 10 minutes.

According to the procedures taken, mosques capacity will be opened before the call to prayer for a period not exceeding 5 minutes, with worshipers given 10 minutes between the call to prayer and the conduct of the prayer, no more than 25 minutes per prayer, from the hour of the call to prayer until the end of the prayer, and going out immediately after the prayer from the mosque, Except for Maghrib prayer, where the prayer is held after 5 minutes of the call to prayer so that the time does not exceed 20 minutes.

Work will continue to be done by closing mosques capacity only during Friday afternoon, when Muslims will pray at home, especially since the call to prayer in your homes will be only on Friday afternoon, with mosques receiving worshipers in the prayers that follow while maintaining ablution places and coolers of drinking water Closed, and there will be two doors, one for entering the worshipers, and one for the exit of the worshipers, to ensure that the interview does not meet as much as possible and the fluidity of movement during entry or exit from the mosque, in order to achieve the greatest guarantee for the attendants of the mosques and their architecture, until further notice.

The commission noted the readiness of mosques capacity to receive worshipers at the state level while fulfilling all the precautionary measures prescribed for the Corona pandemic (COVID-19), where the authority began since activating the decision to open mosques capacity, to sterilize them all, and to place guiding signs and posters on the mosques brushes to determine areas of physical distance.

The Commission has also endeavoured to give the safety of worshipers and community members a top priority, which was evidenced by its eagerness to achieve the highest levels of health safety and divergence, at the same time calling on the masses of worshipers to adhere to precautionary measures.
