Precautionary measures against Coronavirus

Flights

In detail, the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the suspension of all incoming and outgoing flights to Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq from March 17, 2020. In response to precautionary measures and preventive health and proactive measures. To prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus in the country.

Stop visas

The UAE decided to “temporarily suspend” the issuance of all visas from March 17 this year. Except for the holders of diplomatic passports. In a statement yesterday, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship clarified that this comes within the framework of the preventive and precautionary measures taken by the state in response to raising the level of the new Coronavirus by the World Health Organization and considering it a “pandemic”. Which makes travel at this stage a high degree of risk. The decision does not apply to persons who have been issued visas before the effective date of this decision. It pointed out that, the decision to temporarily suspend visas comes until a mechanism for medical examination in the countries of departure is activated as an additional measure.

March activities in Dubai postponed

Yesterday, the Department of Tourism and Commercial Promotion in Dubai directed to postpone all activities scheduled for the month of March in Dubai until the end of the month. Including all activities of entertainment destinations. Prevent hotel establishments and wedding halls from holding wedding parties from Sunday 15 March to the end of the month. Inspect all facilities to verify full compliance.
