It is also highlighting its role in supporting diplomatic solutions to the crisis between the two countries.

The ministry emphasized the UAE’s commitment to continuing efforts aimed at finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.

The UAE advocates for diplomacy, dialogue, and de-escalation, seeking to support initiatives that alleviate the humanitarian consequences of the crisis, including those affecting refugees and prisoners.

It’s worth noting that the Emirati mediation efforts have been successful throughout this year.
With seven other prisoner exchange operations completed between Russia and Ukraine.
Additionally, in January 2022, the UAE facilitated the exchange of two prisoners between the United States and Russia.
