304 Research Papers at the 38th World Congress of Sport Medicine
The National Olympic Committee has revealed that 304 research papers will be presented at the 38th World Congress of Sport Medicine.
This event will take place in Dubai this October 24-27, hosted by Dubai World Trade Centre.
It will bring together experts in sports medicine from all over the world.
These specialists include professionals in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports nutrition, and sports psychology.
The congress will cover a wide range of topics in 16 sessions, including:
130 Speakers, six workshops, over 30 supporting organizations, and participants from 70 countries.
Future of Sports Medicine
During a press conference organized by the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Hashel Al Teneiji, Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee, highlighted the scientific importance of the conference.
He emphasized that the selected sessions and workshops focus on key medical topics.
Those topics have high impact on athletes as they include the latest studies and advancements in the field.
Moreover, the event will shed light on the future of sports medicine.
As well as the opportunities and challenges in this growing sector.
Because it plays an increasingly important role, especially in managing sports injuries.

“Young Researcher Award in Sports Medicine and Performance”
38th World Congress of Sport Medicine is organized by:
Sports Medicine Committee in collaboration with Emirates Physiotherapy Society and Emirates Sports Medicine Society.
It will begin on October 24, featuring a panel discussion on, the “Future of Sports Medicine and Science in the GCC” and various lectures.
Including topics on physical inactivity and biomechanics in sports.
The sessions will also focus on the usage of technology, artificial intelligence, and physical recovery strategies in sports medicine.
Adding that the 38th World Congress of Sport will introduce the “Young Researcher Award in Sports Medicine and Performance”.
This award is created by the Emirates Sports Medicine Society.
It aims to support young professionals and encourage them to engage in research.
By offering new opportunities in the fields of sports medicine and rehabilitation.
