Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Supports Promising Digital Startups
Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, supported 215 promising digital startups to establish and grow their businesses in the emirate during the first half of 2024.
This represents a 212% increase compared to 69 digital startups supported during the same period last year.
The total market value of these companies is approximately $7 billion.
During the first half of this year, the chamber trained 243 Emiratis.
This training was part of “Create Apps in Dubai” initiative launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and led by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

The chamber also organized 12 international roadshows to promote “Expand North Star” exhibition.
Which is organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.
This event, scheduled for October, is considered the largest gathering of startups and investors worldwide.
Additionally, the chamber strengthened its presence as an organizer, supporter, and strategic partner.
This is for 15 local and international events during the first half of the year.

H.E Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated:

Which aims to generate an average of AED 100 billion annually for Dubai’s economy through digital transformation projects.”
