National Value
H.E Abdullah Hamdan Bin Dalmook, CEO of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, expressed his happiness with the large turnout at the launch of “Dubai Dates.”
He said: “Our goal is to sustain the symbols of national heritage in the country.
The palm tree is one of the most important of these symbols.
The large participation, especially in the Home Palm Tree Competition, indicates that we are on the right path.
In building a strong social relationship between the people and the palm tree, which is one of our main goals for ‘Dubai Dates.’
Our vision is more social and cultural than economic.
We work to establish the value of the palm tree as a national treasure and encourage various groups to cultivate and care for it.
Therefore, we increased the number of winners in each competition.”
Dubai Dates Will Enhance the UAE’s position in the agricultural sector
The CEO continued:
“Dubai Dates” complements the journey of many date-related events at the national level, from which we have benefited greatly.
Such as Liwa Date Festival, which provided us with its rich experience in this field.
We share with these events the desire and ambition to enhance the UAE’s position in the agricultural sector in general.
And also in palm cultivation in particular, known for its variety and quality.
We aim to double the attention given to palm trees, which are an authentic and ancient product, and support palm owners from all categories.”
The exhibition platforms recorded a large number of visitors.
The visitors wanted to see the participants’ displays of the finest types and varieties of dates and to purchase palm products.
“Dubai Dates” includes a large number of platforms containing everything related to palm owners.
In addition to many activities and workshops specific to “Dubai Dates.”
