Dubai Hosts 4 International Tournaments Among 14 Diverse Sports Events This Weekend
Dubai is hosting four international tournaments among 14 diverse sports events.
These events are taking place across the city in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council this weekend.
Hankook Dubai 24 Hours Global Endurance Race
The 19th edition of the Hankook Dubai 24 Hours Global Endurance Race kicks off at 3:00 PM tomorrow at the Dubai Autodrome in the heart of Motor City.
The race features world-renowned car racing champions, with 60 teams driving 54 different types of high-performance cars from the GT4, GT3, and TCR categories for 24 consecutive hours.
Dubai Challenge Cup Football Tournament
The Dubai Challenge Cup Football Tournament kicks off tomorrow at Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Sports Club.
Four teams are participating: Zamalek from Egypt, Raja Casablanca from Morocco, Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia, and Wuhan Three Towns from China.
Dubai International Basketball Championship
The Dubai International Basketball Championship continues until Sunday at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall at Al Nasr Sports Club.
Top Arab and Asian clubs are participating, including the UAE national team, the Tunisian national team, the Philippine club Strong Group featuring NBA star Dwight Howard.
In addition to teams from Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Morocco, and the UAE.
Dubai Creek Striders Half Marathon
The Dubai Creek Striders Half Marathon takes place next Sunday, starting at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
More than 3,000 runners of all ages and nationalities will compete in 21.2-kilometer and 10-kilometer races around Dubai Creek, passing through the historic Shindagha district, Dubai Museum, and other scenic spots.

In addition to the four international tournaments, Dubai will host several other sporting events this weekend, including:
- The Dubai Schools Games football tournament at Al Nasr Sports Club.
- The EMD International Boxing Championship at The Agenda in Dubai Media City.
- The Silver Cup Polo Tournament at Habtoor Polo Club & Resort.
- The DP World ILT20 cricket tournament at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai Sports City.
- The DASSA School Run at The Sevens Stadium.
- The UAE’s first Down Syndrome Bowling Championship at Dubai International Bowling Centre.
- The Open Swimming Championship at Hamdan Sports Complex.
- The HSBC Sevens Rugby Youth Festival at The Sevens Stadium.
- The fourth training race in preparation for the Spence Dubai 92 at Al Qudra Cycling Track.
- The Hilton Tower Run starting from Hilton Dubai The Walk.
These 14 diverse sports events are expected to draw wide participation from across the community.
Because they are offering everyone a chance to enjoy diverse sports and witness exciting competitions.
