Measuring progress towards achieving the Paris Agreement goals on reducing impacts, adaptation, and climate finance.
As well as the adaption of current plans, is an essential part of the overall picture,.
For this reason COP28 is gaining greater importance.
Therefore, the decisions that the parties adopt at COP28 could become the most important outcome after Paris Conference in 2015.
As the first global assessment process, which began at COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, will end in Dubai.
The UN noted that His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, will lead climate negotiations.
Also he will provide leadership and comprehensive vision during the negotiations.

An effective step to address the impacts of climate change by $100 million from UAE
The contribution of the United Arab Emirates is a significant step towards supporting the efforts to address the impacts of climate change.
It is also a reflection of the UAE’s commitment to global cooperation and its belief in the importance of solidarity in the face of common challenges.
The Loss and Damage Fund is a new fund, established at COP28 to provide assistance to countries that are already experiencing the impacts of climate change.
The fund is expected to provide support for a range of activities, including:
- Rehabilitation of infrastructure and ecosystems that have been damaged by climate change
