His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, presented prizes to the 10 winners of the Zayed Sustainability Prize with the contribution of a number of world leaders, at the Prize’s annual awards ceremony on Monday, according to with the start of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
The crown prince Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said, “Each year, the Zayed Sustainability Prize marks new achievements on its global mission to reward innovation and impact in areas of sustainability and humanitarianism. Over the year of preparation towards our goals for the UAE’s next 50, we take inventiveness from our shared commitment to honouring the vision of our founding father, Sheikh Zayed.”
During handing the prizes to the winners, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed emphasised the significance of hopeful the next generation of pioneers and innovators to be sustainability champions and the important role they will play in progressing their impact on socio-cultural and economic improvement. Sheikh Mohamed also honoured the level of the difficulty some of the projects display and the long term impact that will have on a worldwide, as well as local, community level.
H.H congratulated winners of the Global High Schools group presence split into six world region winners.
The ceremony was joined by numerous heads of state, ministers and other senior-level notables from the UAE and abroad, adding to past winners, beneficiaries and 2020 finalists.
